Schenker signed to in-akustik in 2008 as an artist and composer. Including the current album “Spirit On A Mission” the record label has now brought out of his five studio albums and two live recordings, a third will be coming out at the end of March 2016.
The Temple of Rock, who have been the successor band to the Michael Schenker Group since 2012, sees Schenker supported by Doogie White, who was once the lead singer of the British band Rainbow, bassist Francis Buchholz and drummer Herman Rarebell, who both played with Schenker, in the Scorpions and keyboardist and guitarist Wayne Findlay.
