The Grammy goes to...

"Also scoring big was the prolific Grosse Pointe record company Mack Avenue Records. Releases from the indie jazz label grabbed three Grammys, including best jazz vocal album (Cécile McLorin Salvant, Dream and Daggers), best jazz instrumental album (Billy Childs, Rebirth) and best large jazz ensemble album (Christian McBride Big Band, Bringin’ It). Mack Avenue went into the night with six nominations, continuing a hot streak that has made it a Grammy darling in recent years."
